Why do I want to go there? What is my goal? Am I traveling alone or with others? When does the trip start?…

Why?

First, you should be clear about why you want to go on vacation. Why do you need this time off: stress? End of studies? A break from everyday life? There are certainly many more reasons.

Next, you should ask yourself what your goal is. Do you want to meet new people? Do you want to experience a new culture? Do you need adventure or relaxation?

If you’re traveling as a couple, choose a destination that you both enjoy.

When?

Depending on your destination, it’s important to know whether you want to travel in winter or summer. Personally, I would avoid vacation and holiday periods.
