Vienna is an incredible city with so much to see and do. To help you have a better trip to Vienna, here is my top to-do list for you.

1.Cafe Demel

As mentioned, a visit to the Imperial and Royal Court Bakery is a must. And a better option than Starbucks.

2.Eat a piece of Sacher cake

Who doesn’t love cake? The famous Viennese cake is available in almost every café.

3.Vienna State Opera

Be sure to visit the Vienna State Opera. Whether from the inside or the outside.

4.Schönbrunn Palace & Garden

If you are interested in history, I recommend this impressive palace. The gardens in particular are incredible. The Hofburg in the center of Vienna is also highly recommended.

5.Visit St. Stephans Cathedral

A very interesting tour through the Vienna Catacombs is offered there..

5.Ride the Riesenrad

Who doesn’t love beautiful views? You have a charming view over the entire city.

6.Visit the parks

Vienna has a wide selection of beautiful parks.

7.Tiergarten

If you have been to Schönbrunn Palace, make sure you visit the Tiergarten first thing in the morning, as it is unfortunately only open until the afternoon.
