Budapest is one of the underrated cities of Europe. If you haven’t been to Budapest yet, check out my favorite places in the city. I’ll show you ALL the must-see places.

Fisherman’s Bastion
Fisherman’s Bastion is packed with tourists. You can walk along the wall and have a wonderful view over the city. The church with the tower can also be visited. Or you can sit in the café and enjoy the surroundings.
Gellert’s Bath
Unfortunately I don’t have a photo for you here, but it’s an incredibly beautiful thermal bath. You can relax outside in the outdoor pool or in the sauna with the accompanying ice water. Indoors there are also saunas, swimming pools and spas. The architecture is so beautiful that you won’t be able to stop admiring it all.

House of Parliament
This building reminds me a bit of Hogwarts, Harry Potter’s magic school. Unfortunately, a tour inside was not possible during my stay, but I recommend it to everyone. A special eye-catcher is the Parliament in the evening together with the Danube, when everything is illuminated

Hungarian State Opera House
A spectacular view offers the opera. If you can’t afford a ticket, then it’s very impressive to see it from the outside.

Shoes at Danube River
The Shoes on the Danube are by the Hungarian Gyula Pauer as a memorial to the Jews who were killed in 1940.

Castle
Inside there is a museum with the history of Budapest and Hungary in general. But this is actually not recommended, but the view over Budapest is.

1.Eat Hungarian Food…maybe you try some Goulash or Palacsinta. The food is greasy than you might be used to, but still very tasty.
2. Shopping at Andrassy Street….If you have enough money and care about fashion brands like Chanel, then this is the perfect street.
